The distance-piece is for concrete-reinforcing members and comprises a straight bar (2) to which a series of supports (3) are fixed. These fit in feet (4) at their bottom ends, in turn bearing on bottom shuttering (10). The bar is on straight single-leg supports welded to it at one end and inserted in the feet at the other. These have standing surfaces (7) at right angles to the supports while above is a supporting surface (8) for lower reinforcing members (11). ADVANTAGE - Simplicity and low cost.
