1-Methyl-beta-oxo -alpha-phenylcarbamoyl -2-pyrrolepropionitrile tromethamine salt of formula (I) is new. - (I) is prepd. by reacting (II) with an equimolar amt. or slight excess of (III) in a solvent, e.g. an alcohol or ether.
