A rigid joint between two profile sections (1, 2), which have pins (6) (7), e.g. made of thermoplastics material, protruding therefrom for engagement with one another and for permanently joining together, e.g. by welding or adhesive, is characterised in that the projecting end (9) of the pin (6) is either concave or convex for interfitting with a convex or concave pin end (10), respectively, of the other fastening pin (7). The sections (1, 2) may be coated with thermoplastics material (15, 16) which is also welded together at the joint, in the construction of e.g. a window frame. <IMAGE> |
