<p>PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of a work queue in an article collecting facility in which a container conveying line is divided into a plurality of zones functioning independently from each other, by laying an auxiliary container collecting line along the conveying line. CONSTITUTION:There are provided an empty container return line C along an article storage container conveying line B, and an article storage completed container conveying line D along and below the line C. In this arrangement, the work in every zone (a) takes out an empty container from the empty container return line C, and carries out a storage work in accordance with a working slip issued at the zone. Further, storage works are carried cut for containers 1 conveyed from an upstream zone (a) by the conveying line B. Then a container for which all storage works are completed, is shifted onto the auxiliary conveying line D, and is therefore conveyed bypassing downstream zones (a). With this arrangement, the handling of containers for which all storage works are completed is rationalized, thereby it is possible to prevent occurrence of a work queue.</p> |
