PURPOSE:To eliminate a need for a power supply for display use and to enhance the maintenance efficiency by a method wherein a light-emitting device is actuated by an inductive electromotive force generated inside an inductive coil which is interlinked with the leakage flux generated by an electromagnetic coil. CONSTITUTION:In an apparatus which is equipped with an electromagnetic coil 12, a display device 1 to which light-emitting devices 5, 5a are connected at both ends of an inductive coil 4 is attached in appropriate positions which are interlinked with the leakage flux generated at the coil 12. If an alternating- current voltage is impressed on the coil 12, an alternating field is generated and, at the same time, the magnetic flux leaks to the outside of the coil 12. An inductive electromotive force generated inside the coil 4 is fed to the devices 5, 5a which are connected to the coil 4; the devices 5, 5a emit the light. By this setup, a power supply for display use is not required and the maintenance efficiency is enhanced.
