<p>A nitroazole derivative of the formula: NA-Rf (I) wherein NA is 3-nitro-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl or 2-nitroimidazol-1-yl and Rf is a fluorine-containing organic group provide that when NA is 2-nitroimidazol-1-yl, the fluorine-containing organic group has at least one fluorine atom on a carbon atom which bonds to the nitrogen atom of the imidazole ring or a carbon atom which bonds to said carbon atom, which is useful as a raiosensitizer.</p>
