PURPOSE:To store fowl in a fresh state even under a refrigerating condition for a long period of time, by using a container made of a specific resin and filling the space thereof with gas having a specific composition. CONSTITUTION:A container is composed of a high nitrile resin whose content of an unsaturated nitrile monomer is 50 wt.% or more and, especially, the high nitrile resin obtained by copolymerizing acrylonitrile and the monomer copolymerizable with said acrylonitrile in the presence of conjugated diene type synthetic rubber is pref. from the aspect of good processability and good storage aptitude. Fowl is packed in the container obtained by molding this high nitrile resin and the space part of the container is filled with a gaseous mixture of nitrogen and carbon dioxide to make it possible to store fowl for a long period of time. |
