PURPOSE:To continuously carry out printing by aligning the front end of a sheet of paper on one tractor feeder to the rear end of a sheet of paper on the other tractor feeder at the time of detecting the rear end in plural tractor feeders for sending out sheets of printer paper to a printing part side in order. CONSTITUTION:A guide 4 is installed after the front end of a sheet of paper S1 is superposed and engaged with the sprocket of a tractor feeder(TF) 20 projecting out of the groove of a guide 5. an additional sheet of paper S2 is equally installed on a TF 21. The sheet of paper S1 is made pass through between guides 3-6 by means of the TF 20 and it is temporarily stopped as its front end is detected by a sensor 2. And, the sheet of paper S1 is positioned at a point A and is superposed on the sprocket of a TF 22. Then, the sheet of paper S1 is wound up while being printed 1. When the rear end of the sheet of paper S1 is detected 2, the TF 22 is stopped while the TF 21 is started to feed the front end of the sheet of paper S2 up to the point A and, after joining it to the rear end of the sheet of paper S1, the TF 22 and the printing head 1 are restarted. Thereby, printing can be continuously carried out on plural sheets of paper.
