PURPOSE:To make a whole device for press-fitting/caulking parts in a small size and to efficiently conduct press-fitting/caulking works for the parts of various shapes/sizes by providing a head exchanging device having many kinds, of plural press-fitting/caulking heads in the neighborhood of head holders which relatively move in three dimensions. CONSTITUTION:Press-fitting/caulking heads 4, 4' corresponding to parts to be press-fitted/caulked are automatically fitted to a head holder 16 by a head exchanging device 13. Next, the head holder 16 holding the press-fitting/caulking heads 4, 4' and a base 2' on which many kinds of plural parts to be press-fitted/ caulked are placed are relatively moved forward/backward, leftward/rightward and upward/downward, by actuators 17, 18 linked to a position-speed-load feed back type controller so as to match the positions of the required parts 1, 1 to be press-fitting/caulked with the positions of the press-fitted/caulking heads 4, 4' corresponding thereto so that the press-fitting and the caulking works can be carried out. At this time, the actuators 17, 18 are controlled at low speed only during the press-fitting/caulking works.
