PURPOSE:To obtain an electrolytic capacitor whose performance at a high temperature is excellent by a method wherein a driving electrolyte composed of an organic polar solvent where a quaternary ammonium salt of a nonane dicarboxylic acid is dissolved as a solute is used so that a change in tandelta at a high-temperature load test can be reduced. CONSTITUTION:A driving electrolyte composed of an organic polar solvent where a quaternary ammonium salt of a nonane dicarboxylic acid is dissolved as a solute is used. The nonane dicarboxylic acid is a dibasic carboxylic acid which is expressed by a molecular formula of HOOC-(C9H18)COOH; a part expressed by (C9H18) in a main chain may be a straight-chain shape or a branched-off shape. It is preferable that the quaternary ammonium salt of the nonane dicarboxylic acid is an acid salt. By this setup, a change in tandelta at a high-temperature load test (at 110 deg.C) is reduced, and an electrolytic capacitor whose performance at a high temperature is excellent is obtained.
