PURPOSE:To permit easy cleaning of underfloor without entering of a man into underfloor, by a method wherein a sheet type floor is carried from the upper side of a grating floor into underfloor and is developed to lay it, thereafter, the used sheet type floor is retrieved into a sheet type floor receiving vessel, capable of being inserted into or drawn out of the underfloor. CONSTITUTION:A grating floor 10a for carrying a sheet type floor roll into under floor is removed at first, then, the sheet type floor roll 14 is supported by a roll stopper 13 to lay it on an underfloor ventilating passage 5. Then, slide balls 18, provided at the tip end of a sheet type floor 15, is inserted into rails 17 whereby the floor 15 slides down and is laid on the whole surface below the grating floor 10. Dust, generated in a working room 2, settles and is accumulated on the floor 15. When the dust has accumulated by a predetermined amount and the replacement of the floor 15 is required, the roll stopper 13 is released from the upper side of the floor 10, then, the sheet type floor 15 slides on the rails 17 and the dust can be retrieved in a condition that it is accumulated on the sheet type floor 15, stored in a sheet type floor receiving vessel 16, and is covered by a dust proof lid 16a so as to prevent the re-dispersion of it. Thus, the cleaning of the underfloor may be effected simply without entering of a person into the underfloor, and whereby the degree of cleanness in a clean room can be increased.
