PURPOSE:To eliminate the fluff of recording medium even if correcting operations are repeated many times by lifting OFF by reducing thermal energy to be applied by heating means at second time as compared with that at first time when the operations are repeated many times. CONSTITUTION:Before correcting operations are conducted many times, the value of energy applied to a thermal head 6 is so set as to reduce at least at second time as compared with a first time. A voltage value or a pulse width value is prepared in a ROM or the like, a corresponding value is read depending upon the turn of the correction, and the drive of the head 6 is controlled by the value. A signal corresponding to a recording image 2 to be corrected is applied to the head 6 to heat a heating element 6b, thereby bonding the adhesive layer 4b of a correcting medium 4 to the image 2. When the medium 4 is separated from a recording sheet 1 by moving a carrier 7, the image 2 bonded to the layer 4b is separated from the sheet 1. As a result, it can prevent the sheet 1 from separating. |
