PURPOSE:To securely close a sliding lid by providing two detaining holes provided on the sliding lid, an engaging protrusion part provided in front of the two detaining holes and a detaining claw provided on a cassette main body for detaining the sliding lid in each of its opening and closing positions by engaging with the two detaining holes. CONSTITUTION:The following are provided that the cassette main body 1, the sliding lid 3 for slidably opening and closing an opening part provided on the bottom surface of the cassette main body 1, the two detaining holes 7 and 8 provided on the sliding lid 3 for detaining the sliding lid 3 in the two positions of its opening and closing, the engaging protrusion part 17 provided in front of the two detaining holes 7 and 8 and the claw 9 provided on the cassette main body for engaging with the two detaining holes 7 and 8 and then detaining the sliding lid 3 in the two positions of its opening and closing. By this method, the cassette is detainably held in its position until the sliding lid is completely closed by an engagement of a protrusion for releasing the detaining of the sliding lid provided on a cassette holder with the engaging protrusion part at the time of taking out the cassette, and after closing the lid, the cassette is then taken out with its cassette main body.
