PURPOSE:To significantly improve the heat exchanging capacity and improve the thermal efficiency by fixedly attaching a heat transfer pipe to multiple fins which are equally spaced with the serpentine heat transfer pipe perpendicularly intersecting the fins in multiple levels, and changing the configuration of the fins along the way of the heat transfer pipe. CONSTITUTION:Fins 1 are fixed in place to perpendicularly intersect a heat transfer pipe 2. The air speed is low in the area A, and high in the area B. By selecting the plate fin for the area A where the air speed is low and the corrugated fin having a higher draft resistance for the high speed area B, the area B will have a greater heat exchanging capacity than that which is gained from the plate fins which are equally spaced. On the other hand, when the low temperature space heating is performed, there is less draft resistance in the plate finned area, and so, the frost growth is slow. Therefore, even if the area B is completely blocked with frost, the drafting is still possible through the area A, assuring a sustained space heating and reducing the unpleasant repetition of defrosting. Further, owing to the corrugated finned area B, the heat exchanging capacity can be significantly improved.
