摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate diversified settings by operators and to perform setting operation quickly, by determining a voltage to be applied to a neutron flux detector in accordance with a specified algorithm when a plateau curve of the neutron flux detector is measured. CONSTITUTION:Voltages are applied to a neutron flux detector 1 by every 1V from 0V with a high-voltage generating circuit 3 through a DO means 4 based on commands from a computer 6. The output current of the neutron flux detector 1 is written into the computer 6 through a current/voltage converter circuit 2 and a DI means 5. A plateau curve, which is a graph of the output current (a) and the applied voltage (b), is obtained. At first, the voltage VA, where the increasing rate of the output current begins to decrease, is obtained. Then, the voltage VB, where the output current begins to increase with the increasing applied voltage, is obtained. Finally, the voltage, which corresponds to a distance that is 1/2 the interval between VA and VB, or the voltage, which corresponds to the average value of the current values, is set to be the applied voltage. Thus, the setting operation of the applied voltage can be performed quickly.
