PURPOSE:To stop the downward motion of a lift arm relative to the working position of a working machine at a proper position, by using a sensor for detecting vertical floating motion between a lift arm and a working machine and breaking the transmission of the lowering driving force of the lift arm. CONSTITUTION:Vertical floating motion between a lift arm 3 and a working machine 2 is detected with a sensor 4 in the course of the lowering operation with the lift arm 3 and the downward motion of the lift arm 3 is stopped by breaking the transmission of the lowering driving force of the lift arm 3. When the downward motion of the lift arm 3 is stopped, the working machine 2 is allowed to be movable in vertical direction at the stopped position to enable the machine to follow the irregular oil surface.
