PURPOSE:To enable any person to execute shading correction by providing the titled device with an adder for adding image data to shading correction data read out from a shading correction memory to execute shading correction. CONSTITUTION:A TV camera 10 image-pick up an object, generates a video signal and sends the signal to an A/D converter 11, image data outputted from the A/D converter 11 is stored in a frame memory 13 synchronously with the image picking-up of the camera 10. Data for correcting shading due to the TV camera 10, an exposing CRT 15, a printing lens 15, etc., are written in a shading correction memory 14. The correction data read out from the memory 14 are added to the image data stored in the memory 13 by the adder 17 to execute shading correction. Consequently, any person can simply execute shading correction.
