PURPOSE:To take out only the reflected waveforms from long buried underground objects and to ensure the removal of unnecessary images, by a constitution wherein the weight of the data of the unnecessary reflections from block shaped bodies is eliminated out of measured data. CONSTITUTION:The weight of the data of block shaped bodies 3, which are the data of unnecessary bodies, has circular data in specified time planes. Measured data are taken out for every specified time plane at a specified interval by utilizing the fact that the circular data are present. Whether the weight of the data on each specified time plane has the circular shape or not is judged by general pattern recognition. When the weight of the circular data is present, only the circular data are eliminated, and the effect of the reflected waves from the block shaped bodies 3 is excluded. Only the weight of the data of long structures such as pipes 1 and 2 and the like, which are to be searched, is made to remain, and a synthetic aperture processing is performed. |
