PURPOSE:To maintain the image formation of high quality by moving a data writing position in a bit map memory in accordance with the number of printed sheets or a value corresponding to the number. CONSTITUTION:When the total number of printed sheets or a value corresponding to the number is stored and a font pattern obtained from a font memory 23 is written in the bit map memory 24, the printing position is moved by the prescribed number of dots in a printing direction in accordance with the total number of prints or the value corresponding to the number. Thus, an image writing position on an image carrier can be changed by changing the writing position in the memory 24 automatically and properly in accordance with the total number of prints or its corresponding value. Consequently, the image forming of high quality can be always maintained. |
