<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently execute proper processing by setting up information relating to application probability for input language in a grammatical rules necessary for processing and determining the validity/invalidity of application of the grammatical rules based on the application information. CONSTITUTION:The application conditions of respective grammatical rules are simultaneously inspected based on information relating to the application of grammatical rules included in dictionary information of respective words appearing in a text to be processed or information relating to a sentence sort or an objective field of a text to be processed which is previously set up by an operator and the inspected result is held in a management table 35. Thereby, a grammatical rule to be applied to natural language processing can be restricted only to a grammatical rule appropriate for the text to be previously processed. Consequently, the repeat of incorrect processing and useless processing can be prevented and processing appropriate for the text can be efficiently executed.</p> |
