PURPOSE:To provide the title composition developing flexibility and adhesiveness without absorbing moisture and having both of proper water solubility and excellent water resistance and mode possible in long-time adhesion without being suddenly dissolved in the presence of moisture, by compounding a hydrophilic polymer a water-insoluble polymer and a softener. CONSTITUTION:A medical adhesive composition contains a hydrophilic polymer A composed of a vinyl pyrrolidone polymer or copolymer, a water-insoluble polymer B composed of alkyl acrylate or alkyl methacrylate polymer or/and copolymer and an alcoholic softener. The wt. ratio of the polymer A and the softener is within a range of 100:50-100: 300 and, the total amount of both of them is set 100pts.wt., the polymer B is compound within a range of 10-300 pts.wt. The adhesive composition developing flexibility, stickiness and adhesiveness without absorbing water, having proper water-solubility and excellent water resistance and made possible in long-time adhesive property without being suddenly dissolved in the presence of moisture is obtained. |
