<p>PURPOSE:To aim at the promotion of miniaturization and lightweightiness for a steering ratio mechanism by constituting a rear steering ratio variable mechanism, controlling each steering ratio of rear wheels according to steering action of front wheels, with an electric motor operating by the front-wheel steering action and an actuating lever. CONSTITUTION:A rear steering ratio variable mechanism 1 consists of the rotating body 3 rotatably fulcrumed on an axis Z-Z in the vertical direction of a car body via a bracket 2, an arm 4 to be connected via a front-wheel side rod 5a for steering force transmission, a lever 7 to be connected to a rear- wheel side rod 5b for the steering force transmission, and an electric motor 6 rotatively displacing this lever 7. The motor 6 is driven according to various driving conditions including a car speed, a steering angle, etc., and when a lever tip 7a is rotated in both directions, this lever tip 7a is rotatively moved according to displacement from top of the axis Z-Z, thereby steering the rear wheels 14 at a proper steering ratio.</p> |
