PURPOSE:To easily manage the communication result of documents transmitted disorderly by constituting a management means which manages the communication result of the documents transmitted by a facsimile equipment so that it prints the document identification number of each document and manages the result by using said number. CONSTITUTION:An automatic document feeding device 1 starts to feed the document 2. A communication management equipment 3 takes up a document number or a document symbol proper for the document constituted by the document 2, and inform as it to a printer 4. The printer 4 prints thus informed document number or document symbol informed by the equipment 3 on the document 2 fed by the feeding device 1. A management information output device 5 automatically requests the equipment 3 for management information corresponding to each document. Upon receiving the management information, the output device 5 expresses, for an operator, the coincidence between the document number or the symbol printed at the time of paper-feeding and respective communication management information at least in such a form as understandable to the operator. As a result, the facsimile operator can accurately know the communication result of an arbitrary document at a glance.
