PURPOSE:To eliminate wasting of gaseous carbon dioxide and promote growth of crops, by controlling supply of the gaseous carbon dioxide into a house so as to provided an ideal gaseous carbon dioxide concentration calculated using measured values of a short-circuit current of a solar cell receiving sunrays as the standard. CONSTITUTION:A shortcircuit (3h) is closed at a given interval of elapsed time to input s short-circuit current (e) of a solar cell (3a) together with an output (C1) of gaseous carbon dioxide concentration in a house 2 to a microcomputer (3e). The ideal gaseous carbon dioxide concentration (C2) is calculated using the measured values (Ai) of the short-circuit current (i) as the standard. In the case of C2>C1, an an electric operated valve (1c) is opened through a controller (3b) to supply the gaseous carbon dioxide from a gaseous carbon dioxide vessel (1a) into the house 2. In the case of C2<C1, the supply of the gaseous carbon dioxide is not carried out.
