PURPOSE:To execute sure light shielding of a film outlet while a film cassette is not mounted and to prevent flawing of a light shielding body while film is drawn out by providing the light shielding body which parts from an inner side face when the film cassette is mounted to a cassette mounting part to the cassette. CONSTITUTION:This film cassette is provided with the light shielding body 45 which is freely turnably supported to a cassette case 18 and closes the film outlet 44 by pinching the film drawn out of a spool 12 and bringing the same into contact with one inner face of the film outlet 44, a spring means 48 which keeps the light shielding body 45 energized at all times in the direction toward closing of the film outlet 44 and a part 49' to be pressed which moves the light shielding body 45 to the position parting from the inner side face of the film outlet 44 when pressed by a pressing part 8' provided to the cassette mounting part 4 at the time of being mounted to the prescribed cassette mounting part 4. The light shielding of the cassette outlet is thereby surely executed while the film cassette is not mounted. The film drawn out of the cassette case is prevented from being flawed by the light shielding body while the film cassette is mounted. |
