PURPOSE:To speed up bit arithmetic processing by reading out a bit arithmetic instruction from a multiport memory for storing plural programs to a bit arithmetic processor independently of program reading to other processors. CONSTITUTION:A 1st program stored in a program storing part 2a of the multiport memory 2 is transferred from the storing part 2a to a shift register 2b in each prescribed blocks and an instruction included in a block of the trans ferred 1st program is serially read out from the shift register 2b to the bit arithmetic processor 3 and executed. The reading of the 1st program from the shift register 2b is executed completely independently of the reading of the 2nd program from an output port of the program storing part 2a. Consequent ly, the reading can be speeded up and the program can be rapidly executed.
