PURPOSE:To aim at improvement in body rigidity by connecting a front side frame to an apron frame with a reinforced member, and unitizing symmetrically separated frames in a body. CONSTITUTION:A front side frame 6 is joined together with a lower edge part 2a of a wheel house via a hanging part 4a of a bottom panel 4. A subframe 10 provided with a suspension is attached to a lower surface of the front side frame 6. The front side frame 6 and the subframe 7 both are joined to the lower surface of the bottom panel 4 in and around the front end and also in and around a lower edge front part 2d of the wheel house 2 and they are connected together by car width reinforced members 8, 9 forming closed sections 13, 14. These frames 6, 7 are connected to each other by the reinforced member 8, and since they function as a unitized frame, such body rigidity that is resistible to external force is thus securable.
