PURPOSE:To make a handle member efficiently heatable by judging whether one's hand come into touch with the handle member or not, energizing a heating device only at the time of contacting, and making the handle member so as to be warmable. CONSTITUTION:A heater H1 of a steering wheel is attached to one area A1 among quadrisections of the circumference, a heater 2 to an area A2, a heater 3 to an area A3 and a heater 4 to an area A4, respectively. Both switches SW1 and SW2 are of a interlocking switch with three contacts, and each switch position is read by an input port of a central processing unit 1 via an input buffer 4. This CPU1 energizes relays RL1, RL2, RL3 and RL4 when the switch SW1 is turned on. With this constitution, the switch SW1 is connected to the power line side, whereby each relay operates, and each heater is energized with current, thus the steering wheel is heated.
