PURPOSE:To maintain the ram of a press brake in parallel with a stationary table by providing a device which detects the turning angle of a tubular body turning cooperatively with the upward and downward movement of the ram and making the deviation in the turning angle correctable. CONSTITUTION:A titled device consists of a tubular body 21 which is pivotally fitted at both ends freely turnably to right and left side plates 7, 9, driving device 31, 31 which turn the body 21 coopratively with the upward and downward movement of a ram 19, a bar member 27, a projecting bar 43 provided to the member 27, a detector which detects the deviation in the turning angle of the member 27 relative with the body 21, and a flow rate control device. Said member 27 is provided to the axial center of the body 21, and is fixed at one end to the body 21 and supported at the other end turnably to the body 21. Said flow rate control device is inputted with said deviation in the detected turning angle and adjusts the flow rate of right and left fluid pressure cylinders 11, 13 for fluid driving the movement of the ram 19 in approaching to the stationary die mounted on the top surface of a stationary table 3. |
