PURPOSE:To easily confirm an address for each equipment with a few ports by providing a set of address display LEDs to a communication control processing unit and using the same port for an address designation switch of a control CPU in the communication control processing unit for the address retrieval. CONSTITUTION:When a registration request switch 14 is turned off, a control section detects it so as to display it that the address is able to be confirmed by turning off all bits of an address display LED 11. However, an address whose bits are all zero is not used. After it is confirmed, a device number desired to be confirmed is set to a device designation switch 13, and the registration request switch 14 is turned on, it is detected by the control section, an input/output select signal line 16 is brought into a high level, an input buffer 21 is brought into the high impedance state and an output buffer 22 is brought into the low impedance state, then the registered address is displayed on the address display LED 11. Thus, addresses of plural equipments are easily confirmed.
