PURPOSE:To obtain the title nontoxic, lowly odorous conveyor free of tin stabilizer and excellent in heat stability, antifungal property, etc., by mixing a vinyl chloride polymer with a specified hydrotalcite and a small amount of epoxidized soybean oil and molding the resulting mixture. CONSTITUTION:A vinyl chloride polymer (A) (e.g., vinyl chloride homopolymer) is mixed with a compound (B) of the formula (wherein 0.2<=x<=0.4 and 0<=m<=2) as a heat stabilizer and 0-1pt.wt., per 100pts.wt. component A, epoxidized soybean oil (C). The obtained flexible vinyl chloride resin composition is extruded to obtain the purpose food conveyor belt. The obtained belt is lowly odorous because of the absence of any tin stabilizer, does not suffer from the growth of molds because of the lowest possible content of epoxidized soybean oil and can be suitably used for conveying food. The amount of component B added is preferably 0.1-20pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. component A. |
