PURPOSE:To improve mounting/dismounting operation of a wheel cover by tightening together either of bolts/nuts for fixing a disk wheel, and fixing the others by use of an elastic holding member having a wedge effect. CONSTITUTION:In fixing a wheel cover 1, three pieces of wheel-fixing fasteners 2 are screwed into a wheel in advance, and then the bottom body 11 of a cylinder body 100 in a wheel cover body is placed in alignment so as to press a wheel cover 10 thereinto. Hence steel strips 110 advance beyond the hexagonal outer shape of a wheel nut 2 to be fitted on the tapered face 20 of the wheel nut 2, enabling it to be connected therewith due to the elasticity thereof. The wheel nut 2 thereafter is screwed to a bolt projecting from the hole 411 of a bottom body 41 and the tapered face of the nut is allowed to be connected in contact with steel stripes 410, 413. This constitution will improve the disconnecting workability of the cover, prohibit the removal thereof unless the wheel nut is removed, and prevent theft. |
