PURPOSE:To easily and certainly perform regeneration work, by providing a control circuit constituted so as to display the regeneration of an ion exchange resin to close an inlet valve and to close the inlet valve and a drain port valve on the basis of the detection of a regenerating salt from a detection circuit to drive a solenoid pump. CONSTITUTION:An ion exchange resin packing bed 1a is provided in a container 1 having a raw water inlet 6, a soft water outlet 7 and a regeneration drain port 11. Further, the inlet valve 5 for opening and closing the raw water inlet 6 of the container 1, the drain port valve 10 for opening and closing the regeneration drain port 11 and detection circuit 14, 14a, 15 detecting the regenerating salt of the ion exchange resin are provided. Furthermore, a control circuit 7 informs and displays the regeneration of the ion exchange resin to a user and closes the inlet valve 5 and receives the output due to the detection of the regenerating salt from the aforementioned detection circuits to open the inlet valve 5 and the drain port valve 10 and drives a solenoid pump 8. As a result, the regeneration work of the ion exchange resin becomes easy and certain.
