PURPOSE:To obtain the titled reel having excellent utility and handleability, by making drag force changeable by electric current control and freely transmitting drive form a main gear to a handle arm shaft and disconnecting by clutch mechanism. CONSTITUTION:Engaging force between a rotary plate 8 and a closed case 9 is controlled through magnetic particles 12 corresponding to excited current flowing an exciting coil 11 in the closed case 9. When external force larger than the engaging force is applied to a flyer 28, the flyer is inversely rotated to reel fishing line. When a handle is normally rotated, clutch mechanism A is operated, a main gear 7 is forcedly rotated and the flyer is forcedly revolved. When the handle is inversely rotated, the clutch mechanism is operated, reverse rotation of the handle is stopped and the closed case is fixed.
