PURPOSE:To rapidly perform a straight line plotting, graphic movement, and graphic rotation, by providing an address control part, a length control part, a sequence control part, and a pattern data parallel interface control part. CONSTITUTION:When the straight line plotting is performed, the address control part 13 performs address allocation on a frame memory 4 by inputting the start point and the end point of a straight line to a register group 10, and the sequence control part 17 finds the inclination of the straight line, and the length control part 14 counts the length of the straight line, then, the straight line is plotted. When the movement of a rectangle is performed, almost the same operation as that of the straight line is repeated, and the movement of the rectangle is performed by inputting the coordinate of the start point and the length of two sides of the rectangle after movement to the register group 10. When the rotation of the rectangle is performed, the pattern data parallel interface control part 16 plots a rotated rectangle by inputting the start point and the coordinate of the end point of one side of the rectangle after movement to the register group 10. |
