PURPOSE:To obtain a composition, homogeneously mixable and dispersible into the form of fine particles and providing molded bodies having excellent mechanical properties and heat distortion temperature, by blending a mixture of a polyamide with polyester with a grafted and modified polyolefin. CONSTITUTION:A composition consisting of (A) 100pts.wt. mixture of 5-95wt.% polyamide (preferably nylon 6, nylon 66, etc.) with 95-5wt.% thermoplastic polyester (preferably PETF or PBTF) and (B) 0.5-40pts.wt. grafted and modified polyolefin prepared by graft polymerizing an addition polymer having peroxide bonds in the molecular chain onto a modified polyolefin having functional groups in the molecular chain [e.g. poly(ethylene/acrylic acid-g-poly(butyl acrylate/styrene block copolymer)] and a molded body, obtained by molding the above-mentioned composition and containing the component (B) dispersed into the form of fine particles having <=2mum average particle diameter. |
