PURPOSE:To obtain a through-the-radiation shielding wall duct which is small in installation space and pressure drop and is easy to manufacture by providing a horn which hinders the emission of radiations to the side further from the radiation atmosphere of said duct. CONSTITUTION:A wall 5 of a building for radiation shielding consists of reinforcing steel bars 6 disposed to a grid shape and concrete. The through-the-wall duct consists of a cylinder 1 which is provided with the horn 1A on the side further from the radiation atmosphere, a cylinders 1B, 1C which are provided therein, a post 3 which is provided with a conical base 2 and blades 4 which fix the post 3 and the inside cylinders 1B, 1C to the cylinder 1. The number of the inside cylinders is varied according to the bore of the duct. This duct necessitates the smaller installation space than the duct of the conventional type and has the smaller pressure drop. Since the duct is small in size, there is not need for cutting the reinforcing steel bars of the walls 5 and since the construction thereof is simple, the manufacture is easy. |
