发明名称 PRODUCTION OF HEAT-RESISTANT POLYMER
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the titled linear polymer of high molecular weight without causing gelation and/or side reactions attributable to the organic diisocyanate used, by reaction between an organic diisocyanate and organic polycarboxylic acid (anhydride) using a specific catalyst. CONSTITUTION:The objective polymer can be obtained by reaction, using, as the catalyst, an alkali metal halide (pref. potassium fluoride) in the form of granules 100% passable through 150 mesh Tyler sieve, with specific surface area >=0.01m<2>/g, between an organic diisocyanate (pref. tolylene-2,4-diisocyanate) and organic polycarboxylic acid (anhydride). Preferably, said reaction is carried out in an anhydrous state in an inert organic solvent under an inert gas atmosphere at 100-200 deg.C for 1-2hr.
