PURPOSE:To prevent air from being sucked into an ink jet nozzle by providing an ink induction piece on the ink supply port side of an ink chamber and also providing a piezoelectric ceramic for the ink induction piece which presses and vibrates the ink induction piece on the external wall of a corresponding point. CONSTITUTION:A printer head is composed of a pressure plate 1, a nozzle plate 2, a supply plate 3, a bypass plate 4, a tank plate 3 and a blind plate 6 joint in that order. When the printer head is driven, ink is inducted into an ink chamber 10 from an ink fountain through an ink induction port 8. An ink induction piece 14 vibrates like a fan via a vibrating piece 13 by constant driving, at fixed frequency, of a piezoelectric ceramic attached adhesively to a piezoelectric ceramic-glued part 9 for the ink induction piece. Subsequently, ink in the ink chamber 10 is continuously supplied to an ink supply port at a fixed pressure. Then ink supplied to a pressure chamber 12 is ejected by the action of the piezoelectric ceramic attached adhesively to a piezoelectric ceramic-glued part for ejection 7. Consequently, a predetermined pressure can always be applied to an ink flying direction and thereby the suction of air from an ink jet nozzle be prevented. |
