PURPOSE:To obtain a nonaqueous solvent cell capable of large-current discharge and large in its life by carrying alkaline metals, mainly consisting of lithium as active materials, into gaps among a group of carrier particles or among cohesive materials in a group of the carrier particles, with respect to the carriers which are made of carbon substances and have specific parameters. CONSTITUTION:A button-shaped secondary cell is composed of a positive pole material, a separator 2, a negative pole material 3, and the like. Carriers for the negative pole material 3 are made of carbon substances and satisfy the following conditions, that is, (1); an atomic ratio of hydrogen/carbon is less than 0.15, (2); a value of G shown in a below equation is less than 2.5 in respect to Raman spectra generated by argon ion laser beams of 5145Angstrom in wavelength, (3); a plane distance (d002) of an (002) plane by X-ray large-angle diffraction is 3.37Angstrom or more and a size (Lc) of crystal in the C-axis direction is 150Angstrom or less. Lithium or alkaline metals consisting mainly of lithium are used as active materials and they are carried into gaps among a group of carrier particles or among cohesive materials in a group of the carrier particles. |
