PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a strong magnetic field and make the device small by forming, on the outer peripheral surface of a beam duct, an oxide superconductor having a high transition temperature for beam deflection into a film of at least one or more layers in the shape of a bipolar coil. CONSTITUTION:On the outer peripheral surface of a beam duct 1, an oxide superconductor is selectively applied which has a relatively high transition temperature at which it becomes superconducting, thereby forming an oxide superconducting magnet coil 2 in the shape of a bipolar coil. The oxide superconductor consists of a ceramic of Y-Ba-Cu-O having a two-layered perovskite structure, and as the selective coating of the superconductor, an oxide is selectively formed into a film by a photo assisted CVD or the like. In order to impart the mechanical strength the oxide superconducting magnet coil 2 formed, a non-superconducting ceramic or the like is formed on the exterior of the coil 2. Moreover, if the oxide superconducting magnet coil 2 is formed in multiple layers, the number of turns increases so that a strong magnetic field can be generated. With this, a strong magnetic field is obtained, the device also becomes small, and a coil of a complex shape can easily be manufactured. |
