PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary for wiring pattern to surround the outside of the bench of a cell row, reduce longitudinal wiring channels and transversal wiring channels, and miniaturize the chip size, by providing a specified cell among cells with a signal line passing through the inside. CONSTITUTION:In an integrated circuit of standard cell system, a specific cell 7 among cells 10 is provided with a signal line passing through the inside (passing signal pattern 15a). When a wiring pattern for connection beyond the specific cell 7 exists, the signal line (passing signal pattern 15a) is used instead of the wiring pattern. Therefore, the wiring pattern does not surround the outside of the cell 10, so that longitudinal wiring channels and transversal wiring channels can be reduced, and the chip side can be made small. |
