<p>PURPOSE:To have enough strength and to produce with good efficiency by allowing a forming die to the end part of a tubular starting material and executing a plastic deformation according to the shape of the forming die under the heating state by friction. CONSTITUTION:The end part in a blank P' is allowed so as to about to a forming die 10, both of the forming die 10 and blank P' or one part is rotated and slid each other at a cutting port side in the end part of the blank P', the surface of which becomes in a molten state with the friction heat due to sliding and in a plastic state as well. When a pressure contact state is maintained further, the end of the blank P' is guided to the work hole 11 on the forming die 10 and deformed so that the diameter of the end part thereof may be drawn in order. The necessary dissimilar diameter end part 2 is thus composed integrally with a tubular main body 1.</p> |
