A position adjustable vehicular seat has lower rails (14) on which are slidable beams (12). One of the beams (12) has pivoted thereto (at 36) one end of a rear telescopically extensible sprung lock (34) and one end of a first telescopically extensible sprung lock (35). One of two upper seat supporting beams (16) has its rear end articulated (at 36) to one end of a link (24,40), the other end of which is articulated to the other end the lock (34). The first end of the one beam (16) is articulated by a pin-and-slot connection (30,32) to one end of a link (22), the other end of which is articulated to one end of a link (40), the other end of which is articulated to the other end of the lock (35).
