<p>PURPOSE:To prevent degradation of print quality even in case of graphic pattern having high print density, by printing a line of print data through plural times of printing operation. CONSTITUTION:A print image memory 1 stores a line of printing dot image, and when high printing quality mode is set through a printing quality indicating section 6, a print data read-out section 2 reads out a line of print data sequentially from the memory 1 from first address to final address. At this time, a read- out time judging section 3 functions such that a gate 4 is opened only when data having odd address are read out. When print data having final address in aforementioned one line data are read out, a print data read-out section 2 reads out print data in the same line sequentially again from first address to final address, and the read-out time judging section 3 functions to open the gate 4 only when data having even address are read out. Since printing of one line is carried out through two times of printing operations, print head can be protected from accumulation of heat and clear graphic printing having high dot density can be carried out.</p> |
