POWDER COMPACTING METHOD AND COMPACTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obtain a compact with the high quality by enlarging a pressurized area of a pressurized band body gradually timewise toward a wall part corresponding to the edge of powder filled space from the wall part of the pressurized band body and not allowing the molded product to contain compressed air therein. CONSTITUTION:When a pressurized fluid 7 is supplied from a supply port 33c to between the pressure receiving surface 25a of the pressurized band body 25 and a pressurized fluid guide face 36f of a holding case 36, powder 14 in the powder filled space 1 is pressurized only on an area corresponding to an initial pressurized area 25a-1 of the pressurized band body 25. With the increasing of the supply quantity of the pressurized fluid 7, the powder 14 is pressurized initially gradually toward the edges 1a and 1b from an area in the powder filled space 1 to confront the initial pressurized area 25a-1 of the pressurized band body 25. Air existing in the powder 14 is pressed out toward the edges 1a and 1b and the compressed air to lead the compact to be damaged does not remain therein.
