PURPOSE:To contrive to heighten the property of mold releaser, while its wetting characteristics, film making property and orientation property, etc., are improved by constituting a solvent composition of a specified amount of trichlorotrifluoroethane and tetrachlorodifluoroethan. CONSTITUTION:A solvent composition is composed of trichlorotrifluoroethane of 10-99.9 wt.% and tetrachlorodifluoroethane of 0.1-90 wt.%. When tetrachlorodifluoroethane in this range is contained in the solvent composition for diluting a mold releaser, the property of the mold releaser is further improved than in the case when single trichlorotrifluoroethane is used. This reason is considered as following, i.e. the wetting characteristics, film making property and orientation property of the mold releaser to the material of a mold is improved by tetrachlorodifluoroethane contained in said composition. Such composition is also used for the mold releaser such as fluorine type, silicone type and wax type etc., but when it is used for the mold releaser of fluorine type, its mold release property is remarkably improved.
