PURPOSE:To record only a necessary part by putting a mark on an original in order to read only the necessary part of the original, and reading this mark. CONSTITUTION:A reading means to read picture information on the original is provided with a sensor 30 to detect the mark, recorded on the original. The mark is recorded previously on the original, correspondingly to the part, necessitated to be recorded. A recording part 6 records the picture information, drafted in a area on the original, indicated by the mark, detected by the sensor 30, in a large-sized recording medium. The picture information on the original is obtained from a CCD image sensor 20 in the reading means.
