PURPOSE:To smooth an angle of inflection point of a path line and to prevent the generation of a flaw of a steel strip by splitting a switching pipe in the longitudinal direction into plural units of switching pipes. CONSTITUTION:The switching pipe 20 is split into the plural units of the switching pipes 1A.... Each unit switching pipe 2A is supported by a supporting body 21, and link plates 22 supporting the supporting body 21 is pivotally attached by pins 23 mutually to join. At this time, the inlet link plates 22A are to be a frame plate 22C fixed on the earth and a pair of upper and lower link plates to insert the next link plate 22. On the frame plate 22C and a link plate 22B when each link plate 22 is inflected, stoppers 24 to butt to slopes of the front and rear ends of the link plate 22A and to decide the limit of inflecting are formed corresponding to the slopes. Therefore, a smooth direction change changing a small angle change at each inflecting position is enabled. Further, the more the number of the unit switching pipes are, the smoother path line is formed.
