PURPOSE:To use each single-functioning signal processing device for various functions in common by making the contents of the single-functioning signal processing device variable. CONSTITUTION:Plural trunk lines 3 and plural extensions 5 are connected to a highway in a digital network 1 through trunk line interfaces 2 and extension interfaces 4 respectively. Plural DSPs 20(1)-20(n), provided with an instruction memory area through RAM constitution, are connected to the highway of the digital network 1. These DSPs are not fixed for their processing contents, but the processing contents vary every time according to the selection of the idle DSP and the write-in processing of a task program in the instruction memory area of the selected DSP by a central processing unit 9.
